So you will know what to except when choosing us to develop your business database software we have included our database development and payment schedule here for your information.
Scoping Database Requirements
On receiving your request, we will be in contact with you to discuss the purpose and the functionality you need in your custom database, and to ensure that we fully understand your software requirements. For information on some of the specific information we will require, we recommend you read our Database Planning Guide.
During our discussions we may suggest additional functionality to the database you might not have previously considered, or even thought possible. Once the project has been properly scoped and we understand the functional requirements of your database, we provide a written quotation outlining the likely development costs and timeframes involved.
Database Development Phase
On acceptance of our quote, and receipt of a deposit payment being 25% of the estimated database cost, we begin development of your custom database in an appropriate version of Microsoft Access Database. Your representative will receive regular updates throughout the development phase. Your representative should have an in-depth understanding of your database requirements, access to relevant build documentation and also be available to answer any questions we might have about a specific aspects of the database.
As the database development progresses, your representative will also receive sample program fragments to review and provide feedback. As you become more familiar with the capabilities of a Microsoft Access relational database, and we come to better understand your business practices, minor changes to the database specifications may occur in order to provide enhanced capabilities. Usually there is no additional cost for minor changes, however significant functional changes outside the original scope of the project will incur additional costs.
Nearing the final development stage a prototype version of the database is provided to you for testing. You should allow for approximately two week of testing the database to identify and advise us of any issues. 50% of the estimated database development cost becomes due upon delivery of the database prototype.
Once testing is complete, and any additional functionality requested has been added, you receive the production version of your custom Access Database. The remaining 25% of the development estimate, along with the cost (if any) of additional work becomes payable upon delivery of the production version of the database.

All of our work is guarantee for a period of 12 months from delivery of the production version of the database, with any identified bugs or software error being correct free of charge. Please see our Warranty information.
